Positively Arts Foundation, in collaboration with Win-Win Entertainment, and Broadway Dreamers students set out to empower, inspire, and heal through the arts at Sunrise Children’s Hospital.
Thank you to Win-Win Entertainment for the following recap of the trip:
“The Dreamers gave it their all as they visited room-to-room, in what was easily one of our most emotional visits. And they did so as though they were seasoned professionals.
The Broadway Dreamers sang “Let It Go” to a young patient as her mom and family members who were visiting, only wept as she sang along.
They sang “Hakuna Matata” to a young boy, as his mom’s eyes filled with tears watching him enjoy the performance. Our last visit was exceptionally difficult as we visited our young friend who has been in the pediatric oncology floor for 11 consecutive months. She was not feeling well but asked to have the Dreamers sing as she kept her eyes closed. The group showed such grace and compassion. It was a beautiful exchange, we all fought back tears.”
We love making a difference in our community!

Positively Arts Foundation (PAF) is a 501c3 non-profit bringing today’s professional artists together with aspiring students to ensure that the performing arts continue to thrive despite the financial difficulties that so many schools are forced to navigate. Working hand-in-hand with the CCSD School-Community Partnership Office, PAF is able to identify the schools most at-risk and in need of arts intervention programs. PAF’s mission is to create enrichment programs that use the arts to EMPOWER, INSPIRE, and HEAL. EMPOWER by using the performing arts to engender confidence and leadership skills within students. INSPIRE by connecting current professional Broadway, Cirque Du Soleil, and Disney performers with aspiring young artists in the community. Through benefit concerts, these young students actually get the opportunity to perform alongside these professionals, actualizing their dreams in front of packed audiences.
HEAL through Harvard-developed arts integration programs designed to tap into the limbic system, the emotion center, of the brain. The founder of PAF received her Masters in Education from Harvard University in 2005 and along with other Harvard Board Members, they design programs geared towards serving students struggling with learning developmental disorders.
