He began playing the violin at the age of 6 by ear because he didn’t know about any music school. At the age of 10 he began playing in the children Orchestra, 6 months later he did pass to the teenagers Orchestra playing ( Mozart , Beethoven , Mahler , Brams , Tchaikovsky , Verdi , etc). I was born in Las Vegas, NV and currently live there.
I have always loved dancing and music. By dancing I was able to forget about the problems I was having in school with bullying. I wanted to show that not only was I a student working hard to earn good grades, I wanted to show and feel like I am more. I release my stress, show my emotions and I feel like I become a better person. When I dance I am in my own bubble and I feel free.
I started dancing when in was in 3rd grade at Harvey E Dondero Elementary School. I auditioned for the first time to participate in the Nevada Ballet Theater Future Dance Program. I kept dancing throughout the years in this program and was offered a Scholarship with the Nevada Ballet Theater.
At Harvey E Dondero Elementary School, Representing Nevada Ballet Theater Future Dance, Mrs. Kirby was my teacher and she showed me the initial steps to dancing and how to perform at the end of the year program which takes place at the Las Vegas Arts Academy.
I currently dance and choreograph at Thurman White Academy. My Instructor is Mrs. Bria Petriella. Mrs. Petriella has presented me with opportunities to learn from with Molodi, Mystere, and Blue Man Group.
In the past, I have performed with
• CCSD Dance Festival in Las Vegas, NV with Thurman White Academy.
• Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas, NV with Molodi.
• Nevada Ballet Theater Future Dance at the Smith Center and Las Vegas Arts Academy in Las Vegas, NV.
On my free time, I like to teach my 6 year old brother how to dance. We like to create performances for our parents to ask for things. I like to practice my dancing to any song on the TV or Radio. I like to watch dance videos on YouTube by Matt Steffinina and Travis Wall, which I admire.
My short term goal for my dance career is to obtain enough experience to audition to attend Las Vegas Academy for my high school years. My long term goal for my dance career is to attend The Julliard School after high school.
I like to dance Lyrical and Contemporary, which allows me to put my heart and soul into my performance.
